Our first Travel Challenge came from the geography department. Admittedly this was a tough one—kudos to Roland for his creative attempt at it!
There actually is a place in the United States where you can visit the Dead Sea, Broadway Avenue, Methodist Church, the Rocky Mountains, Grand Central Station, Mount McKinley, and the Grand Canyon all in one day. We can thank the active imaginations of spelunkers for that. Yep, our mystery spot was deep underground. In the many winding tunnels of Mammoth Cave, a National Park in Kentucky, exist amazing formations that inspired the clever appellations listed above.
Don’t give up on the Travel Challenge—next month will be different (and maybe easier).
